The Vista Rim Neighborhood is a 68 lot master planned community on the West Ridge at the Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond, Oregon. The perimeter lots provide scenic views of the rolling foothills while the interior lots surround interconnected ponds with spraying fountains, gravel walkways, wood foot bridges and park benches. The ponds are seasonally visited by mallard ducks and Canadian geese.
The architectural guidelines governing this neighborhood require that all homes built in the project have the same type and color of roof, cedar siding, windows, masonry, front doors, garage doors and concrete paver strips bordering both sides of the asphalt driveway. These guidelines provided an architectural challenge in developing an exterior that mirrors the existing homes with a floor plan that meets the current needs of the buying public.
Sage Builders, LLC began with one home that was entered in the 2014 COBA Tour of Homes featuring the first home in Vista Rim to incorporate a 3 car garage. Based on feed back from that tour, buyers were prepared to place deposits on additional Sage homes to be built that incorporated sloped ceilings, split master and secondary bedrooms, concrete paver patios, earth advantage and energy star ratings and competitive sales prices. Based on that reception, Sage purchased all 10 of the remaining interior lots surrounding the ponds.
As of today, 10 of these 11 lots have been developed and sold. The 1 remaining unsold home is nearing the final stages of construction with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2016.
