Last month Sage Builders, LLC broke ground on new modern home on the West ridge of the Eagle Crest Resort. This home will incorporate the Prairie School style of architecture developed by Frank Lincoln Wright in the 1930’s.
Wright’s residential designs were known as “Prairie Houses” and incorporated one story projections, an open floor plan, low pitched roofs with broad overhanging eaves, strong horizontal lines, ribbons of windows, built-in stylized cabinetry and a wide use of natural -materials, especially stone and wood.
Sage is developing a 2,321 square ft. home that includes three bedrooms, two and one-half bathrooms, a den, a nook, an expanded kitchen, a walk-through laundry room and a three-car front entry garage. The amenity list includes the interior design touches of Cascade Design Center of Bend. Cascade Design Center selected Basix Mink Quartz Slab for the perimeter kitchen countertop and Viatera Aria Quartz Slab for the kitchen island.
The master bathroom will feature a Minuet Quartz countertop with matching slab backsplash. The floor will be covered with 12″ x 24″ Baside Camel Porcelain Tile. Monterey Collection 4″, 6″ and 8″ Random Width wood flooring will be installed in the entry, kitchen, great room, nook, dining room, hallways and powder bathroom. Special attention has been placed on the kitchen which will feature white perimeter cabinets accented by a contrasting island cabinetry by Brian’s Cabinets. A full complement of built-in stainless steel appliances will be supplied by Johnson Brothers Appliances of Bend.
This home will be offered for sale in the fall of 2017 and priced competitively within the Eagle Crest market. Contact us for more information.
